Google Docs is a handy application that allows you to create documents with tables, graphs, hyperlinks, YouTube videos, images, etc. It’s also a great app for collaboration, but uploading images that have been added to the document is more difficult when needed.
When you right-click on a featured image in Google Docs, the »To safeguard The image as” option is not available because the image is in edit mode. Unfortunately, there is no way to select and download a few images directly from a doctorument. However, there are still a few ways to download particular images from Google Docs. Here are three step-by-step guides to help you upload images from your Google Doc.
Save images from Google Docs via web page (can be used to upload multiple images)
Open your Google Doc from which you want to download the image.
Click on the button Lime available at the top left of the Document.
The Google Doc will be downloaded as zip file. Unzip the file and the images will be downloaded in the pictures folder on your desktop.
Save images from Google Docs using a MS Word document
Open your Google Doc.
The Google Doc will be downloaded as Word document. Open the downloaded MS Word file.
Right-click the image you want to download and click the button Save as image option.
Save Pictures from Google Docs Using Google Keep
Open Google Docs.
The image will be displayed in Google Keep in a sidebar.
Choose the folder where you want to save the image.
