For the celebration of 10th anniversary of Google Play, the American company decided to create a new logo for it. Even if the latter does not benefit from a major transformation, this approach allows Google to unify its image on all the products it offers.
10 years of existence
Google Play has been around since 2012. And since these beginnings, it must be said that the logo of Google’s digital distribution service has rarely been the subject of a small touch-up. So it’s time for him to boost his image as he celebrates his 10th anniversary. And there is a reason behind the presentation of this new logo. Indeed, the company wants to standardize the visuals of all its products and services so that they correspond in their entirety to the same brand image. The Google Play application, which has billions of users each month, is therefore a priority. And 10 years is something to celebrate! So you might as well take the opportunity to bring even more visibility to this change.
A small change
Admittedly, Google Play presents a logo with some changes. But these remain light! The essential triangle equilateral is still valid. Only the shape of its corners, which are a little more rounded, has changed. It also seems thicker than the previous one. The colors that compose it are in the same place: blue on the left, yellow on the right, green on top and red on the bottom. They are on the other hand much less lively to come and take up the same iconic Google colors.
After the improvement of the Google Chrome logo, it is therefore the turn of that of Google Play to fit into the new approach to standardization of the company. It is certainly about small changesbut they have the merit of doing all the difference !
