An animated ticket to fight against fraud

To stifle the black market, event organizers are using new technologies.

Small revolution in the world of events. After years of litigation, this sector has finally found a weapon to fight against counterfeit notes. Thanks to the blockchain, a digital security system known to be inviolable, it is now possible to create an unforgeable ticket. A full-scale trial of this new technology took place in France last weekend, at the request of British singer Ed Sheeran and his team. To set up this system, the services of the Stade de France called on the Swiss company Secutix and its subsidiary Tixngo.

The principle is simple. The buyer places a classic order via the ticket office. But, rather than getting a document by email with a barcode, he only gets proof of purchase. The title is only available for consultation in the StadeFrance Tickets application a few days before the start of the concert. The specificity of this digital ticket is to be constantly updated.
