Accenture expands into the cloud

Accenture will acquire Sentia in the Netherlands, Belgium and Bulgaria. It thus intends to expand its capabilities in the cloud and offer end-to-end cloud infrastructure services.

Accenture in growth mode. The business services specialist announces the acquisition of the group active in cloud consulting, Sentia. He will be integrated with Accenture Cloud First. The amount of the transaction is not specified.

Comprised of approximately 310 cloud specialists, Sentia is present in the Netherlands, Belgium and Bulgaria. Sentia’s Danish operations are not part of the acquisition.



Through this operation, Accenture intends to expand cloud capabilities and offer end-to-end cloud infrastructure services.

“With Sentia, we can relaunch our strategic capabilities in infrastructure engineering and emerging technologies in Europe, particularly in the Netherlands and Belgium”says Roy Ikink, head of Accenture Cloud First Netherlands.

Through this operation, Accenture intends, in fact, expand cloud capabilities and offer end-to-end cloud infrastructure services.

Since 2014, Waterland Private Equity was present in the capital of Sentia. He will remain the main shareholder of the groupwhich will be refocused on Danish activities following the transaction.
